In one of our recent projects ‘H-COP’, we are working on developing exciting and innovative solutions in human-robot assisting technology with the vision of helping people with motion problems improve their quality of life by providing them with a new type of assistive device.
At this point in our development efforts, it is vital for us to have input and perspective of key stakeholders such as the elderly, patients, doctors, and caregivers, to identify what kind of novel orthotic and prosthetic device can be designed to provide support to affected persons as they go about their normal, day-to-day activities. To this end, we intend to conduct an analysis to help us chart our course.
